Overview
FlipAPenny is a trading game with optional online object swaps, developed by Reeves & Co. We respect your privacy and are committed to keeping your data safe. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information We Collect
- Game data: Your in-game progress, inventory, and trade history are stored locally on your device using SwiftData.
- Leaderboard data: If you opt in to leaderboards, we collect your display name and game statistics (net worth, trade count). This data is stored on our servers.
- Online Trading data: If you use Online Trading, we store a server-generated account identifier and alias, your selected built-in avatar, virtual-object inventory, listings, offers, and ownership-transfer history. We do not publish your local player name.
- Device motion: Some mini-game challenges use accelerometer and magnetometer data. This data is processed entirely on-device and is never transmitted or stored.
- Analytics: We may collect anonymous usage analytics (e.g. session count, crash reports) to improve the app. No personally identifiable information is included.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your name or phone number. If you join our waitlist, we store your email address solely to notify you when the app launches.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, or location.
- We do not sell your personal data.
Third-Party Services
We use Render to host Online Trading data. The app may also include Google AdMob advertising, which may process device or advertising identifiers according to your consent and device settings. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more details.
Data Storage & Security
Local game progress stays on your device. Online Trading and opted-in leaderboard data are transmitted over HTTPS and stored by our hosting provider. We retain active marketplace data while your account exists; anonymized ownership records may remain so an object's trade history stays accurate.
Children's Privacy
FlipAPenny is rated for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app can be enjoyed without providing any personal data.
Your Rights
You can delete local game data by uninstalling the app. You can delete your Online Trading account inside the app's Settings; this removes your credential and public account, cancels activity, and anonymizes historical ownership entries. Contact us below for leaderboard deletion or other privacy requests.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
